I work for a wilderness therapy program in colorado Which means i am off the radar for a week at a time every other week. I like computers, reading, cuddling, music, shooting, baja, camping, dogs, lounges, quotes, adrenaline, motorcycles, and coffee shops.. I like discussing philosophy and meeting new people. I absolutely love kids. My nieces and my room mates' son are the best.

i like the water i love playing,swiming in it, looking at it water sking, boating wave running ,wake boarding ect.
i like camping (depending on location and access) ok ok i like camping in a easy accesable locations ha ha ha. but i love the outdoors. sleeping under the stars the smell of camp fires. hmmm. i think its peaceful n romantic kinda u can do the shit in ur back yard and it wouldnt be so gritty thus being more romantic :).
for sports i am a extreme sport kind of a person.
i like snowboarding,skatboarding,freestyle motorcross,freestyle bmx, i dont do these things anymore of course becouse i have this fucked up thing called a job that messes up my personal life.

I'm just a fairly average guy who's been divorced twice. Somewhat a geek of all trades, if it's geeky, I do it (except MMOs, I have moral objections to paying a monthly fee to play a game I already bought). I have two kids and three step-kids who mean the world to me. I am done with marriage after this one is over. Two strikes is enough for me.

I am liberal on most aspects (same sex marriage, for example), but also hold some conservative views (the best gun control out there is a good education about guns, a strong military is not a bad thing). I am a thoughtful person, very easy going, calm and collected. I believe in mind over matter. There is nothing the can't be solved with a little thought. I am not too much of a risk taker. I can sometimes be overly trusting of people (which has got me into trouble before). I am ambitious, and educated, and I believe that education does not stop after you leave school. As life is a school, and I am it's student. I read, and I am always willing to learn something new. I am handy around my house, I like to fix things and I do all my own car work (that is one area where I don't trust people). I am very open minded, I think that the only way for us humans to get out of our slump of modern life we need to expand ourselves and throw away old outdated beliefs and convictions. So yeah that is kinda me in a nutshell, but there is always soooo much more.

Currently 21 so still in my virgin year of being able to buy alcohol legally. I'm just me, Work, School, Hang out with friends. Nothing terribly exciting.

I am in a relationship, but am not convinced yet because it lacks that feeling I had standing in front of the painiting. About a month later: the only interest I have in this site is to find someone interesting or entertaining to chat with from time to time as a change of pace from reading (most recently "Push" and "The Time of My Life" and a travel book of unusual destinations), watching "The Dog Whisperer" or something else I've captured on TiVo (I record Namaste (yoga on Fit TV), Oprah, Andy Griffith, Antiques Roadshow, Masterpiece Theatre, and the occasional other thing, but mostly just watch The Dog Whisperer when I have time), the occasional movie on TCM or just the routine of taking care of house, pets, etc. I do find it interesting to just check out the internet. There is such a wealth of information and entertainment, but interaction with interesting people is a different level of human involvement.
This life is so magical, don't you think? One never knows what wonders a day might bring. I am often amazed.

Where to start? Well... I think I might be in nerd, but I don't think I act like one in person. I enjoy using my computer, but I also enjoy socializing with friends. I love drawing and painting digitally on my computer. I'm also a part of this big social group on the Internet that call themselves furry. It's weird, but I enjoyed it. I have two different moods I'm usually in and one of them is complacent and silent and the other is exuberant and excited. I'm mostly in my complacent and silent mood. I'm going to college at the U to get my degree in Cyber-criminology... and possibly law school. I like to get out of the house and be around people and socialize. I really hate the self-summary part of these sites. I never know what to say or even how to say it. Should I try and be witty and charming, or sarcastic, or deep. I still haven't figured that out yet. I guess that a self-summary, like most aspects of life, is an ongoing ever changing thing. However I have realized that I shouldn't write an essay that tries to elicit many responses, but one that gets the right type of responses for me. Though that's as far as I thought it through. I'm still not sure who the right respondents are yet, but I'm learning. As far as stuff about me, I'm a senior at Weber double majoring in sociology and criminal justice. I own my own condo, my own car, and my shoes...I got tired of borrowing other peoples (see, funny? lame? you decide). I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent, though I cannot for the life of me spell. I don't think I'm bad looking but I also understand that I'm not everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine, I too have personal preferences. I also like to think of myself as a nice guy, though that doesn't mean I don't exercise poor judgement in certain situations and that leads to hurt feelings. Honestly, if I really look at myself, I can, on occasion, be kind of a jerk. I'm slightly narcissistic and that means I may not always consider others when I make decisions. That might have been too honest and it will probably bite on the ass lol. I don't know what else to add other than I'm open to whatever. I like meeting new people to hangout with as friends. I'm also open to something more...if that were to happen.

Im a really laid back person, Im up for just about anything most of time. I have kind of a green thumb. I like plants and gardening. I have a full garden growing right now. Im big into movies mostly comedies, anything that will make me laugh out loud. I would like to meet someone that I could share some of these things with. I consider myself to be a "skeptical optimist"; I keep a realistic, level-headed view about most things, but tend to err on the side of stuff turning out positively. I'm analytical to a fault, I usually spend so much time speccing out a situation that I screw up and fail to act on it.

Its usually hard for me to consider someone a "friend", most people that might consider me their friend feel more like aquaintances or well-wishers to me. That said, once you are my friend, I am loyal to the end, you can always count on me.

I like to make a joke out of anything, even when its in bad taste. I guess I just can't stand people taking everything so seriously. I rarely take offense to anything, and I'm very easy-going.

I'm Mormon by birth, atheist by hardwon experience. Over the years, I've wanted to be an artist, an author, a physicist, a paleontologist, and the guy who discovers the cure for sleep. I snagged a computer science degree a couple of years back, because ones and zeros intrigue and amuse me. Now I work for a local non-profit.

I have this very odd relationship with money. I hate earning it, I hate spending it, I'm annoyed by people who have too much of it. But I have these wistful fantasies about what I'd do if I had boatloads of it. I think I'd start a commune. Not an LSD-laced sex cult (that couldn't possibly stay interesting for more than a decade or two); just a place where people could share meals, work together, and get away from the soul-killing rat race of our overconsuming culture. But stepping back from what could be a 400-page manifesto-length tangent: Money is power. I don't seek power, and fear those who do. But if given power, I'm arrogant enough to think I'd use it for good.

I like people who want to change the world, who want to make it the best place it can be. But the people who are sure they know how to make that happen are the ones who scared the Jesus out of me. Religion and I haven't been on the best of terms this last decade or so, in part because of the wholesale nutjobbery of many of religion's most devoted adherents.

Despite being an atheist--or possibly *because* I'm an atheist--I desire to be a deeply moral person. Or at least one who wishes to bring good to all and harm to none. I'm not sure how to do that, though I'm firmly convinced that no plan involving the death or conversion of those who disagree with me can ever be successful. Every utopia--from the Kingdom of Heaven to the Worker's Paradise--has been a variation on that theme, and down that path lies bloodshed and other miscellaneous rudeness. Plus, it sounds like a lot of work.

I'm quiet. I'm introspective. I whine. I brood. I take myself way too seriously. But there are also these strange, random times when I come face to face with the soul-searing beauty that the world occassionally offers up without warning. Those are times of deep awareness and deep happiness, but also loneliness, because it's something hard to share, even with the people closest to me. I'm middle-aged, quiet, and likely to do little with my life. Not that I don't have ambitions, I just never act on them. I tend more to be the observer, sitting on the sidelines watching others. Once in a great while I get anxious enough about something to act, but not too often. At other times, I am impulsive and don't think things through, and usually regret it afterwards. To be honest, I am mildly Manic-Depressive, but I tend more toward the depressive than manic. I am just curious and interested in seeing what it's like to get to know people based on what their values and beliefs are. It seems a whole lot better than meeting someone at a bar based solely on looks or pick up lines and then realizing later that they don't brush their teeth or shower once a day, or they have completely different views on life. I think family is the most important thing in life and I like to surround myself with positive people and a group quality friends who would be there for you no matter what, and I would like to think I also do the same for them.

I love the mountains and snowboarding has been a big part of my life in my teens and early twenties, I worked at Snowbird as a "liftie" for a couple years, it was truly "the life!" Too bad real life and responsibilities sneak up on you. Since I've been a mom and had to juggle work/baby/family/school I have only been able to get up to the mountain a few times each season. Since my son in a little older now I hope to go up more. I also would love to surf more, the last time I went I was three months pregnant, haven't been back since then, but I have family in Hawaii that I love to visit!

I really want to continue traveling and there is nothing more exciting than the butterflies you get when landing in a new country that you've never been. I hope to explore more new places each year. I am very busy and one thing I'm good at is managing all the things in my life to make sure I get the most out of every day. I work 40+ hours a week at a great job but it is somewhat stressful and I don't really enjoy managing people; I don't really think that is my calling in life. I graduated with a degree in Product Development from a Fashion Design school and I hope to have my own children's clothing line sometime soon. I am also a student at the University of Utah part time, and I am a mom to the most amazingly beautiful, hilarious and witty two year old boy that you will ever meet. I have gone through a lot in my life so far, but I know it has made me so much stronger and a better person because of it.
